New Hope Fellowship strongly believes that because God has blessed us we should also bless those around us. Two things Jesus commanded His church to do: Go and make disciples of all nations, and love your neighbor as yourself. We want to be a blessing to the community. To enable this New Hope Fellowship runs a number of community programs.
FOODBANK
This is a service for people in need of emergency food and supplies. Every Wednesday a team meets to organize and distribute food boxes.
Please contact us if you have a need or if you would like to support this work.
The Foodbank phone number is 021 77 0050 or email foodbank@newhope.org.nz
Christmas Hamper Appeal
Christmas is a time of celebration and to be with family and friends.
Since 2020, we have been organizing Christmas Hampers for families who are struggling with food insecurity in the community. We would be grateful for any support from businesses or individuals in the community to help make Christmas extra special for families in need.
This year we are organizing another Christmas Hamper Drive. The Foodbank does not receive any government funding.
If you would like to support/donate either financially or in the form of non-perishable food, you can contact Elaine – 021-0296-8836/ email: elaine@newhope.org.nz. Please note that any donations will need to given before the 10th December 2024 in time so that we can send the hamper out before Christmas.
Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
